Snow Park Positions

 

Ticket Sellers

This position is responsible for greeting new guests at the park. Ticket Sellers are responsible for selling and taking tickets for admission to the park's attractions. Ticket sellers operate and are fully accountable for a cash register, making change, and displaying positive interactions with guests. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a wide knowledge of the park, and be organized. Applicants should be friendly and outgoing. Individuals who enjoy interacting and speaking with the general public will excel.

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Must be willing to work weekends.
  • Must have reliable transportation to & from work
  • Must be able to operate cash register and give correct change.

Hill Attendant

Seacoast Adventure's Snow Park is looking for outgoing, energetic staff members to join our winter team. Hill Attendants set-up and operate the snow tubing hill and lift lines. We need people with high energy to fill these positions. The ideal candidate will be personable, have strong verbal communication skills, and be friendly. Positions are seasonal to start, with the potential to rejoin for the summer season.

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Outside: Must have winter snow gear
  • Must be willing to work weekends
  • Must be able to stand, walk and bend for the duration of the shift
  • Must have reliable transportation to & from work

Coffee Shop / Snack Bar:

Seacoast Adventure's Deck House Coffee Shop is open seasonally - Summer and Winter. We are seeking qualified applicants to perform a variety of duties such as taking orders, preparing coffee drinks and sandwiches, stocking, cleaning work stations and dining areas and operating cash registers. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be organized. Applicants should be friendly and outgoing. Individuals who enjoy working with the general public and take personal interest in coffee, food prep, or hospitality will excel. Positions are part-time to start.

  • Must be at least 16 years old.

General Laborer / Lawn Care

Experience with landscaping, mechanical equipment including plows and other power equipment preferred. The primary duties include care of grass, shrubbery and vegetation in and around Seacoast Adventure including mowing, weeding, watering, and pruning. Winter jobs include snow removal - plowing, blowing, and shoveling. Groundskeepers are responsible for the general maintenance, cleaning and removal of trash and litter within the facility, adjacent areas and adjacent grounds. Lawn staff must have the capability of learning grounds maintenance and facility maintenance tasks and carry those out on a regular basis without constant supervision.

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to work day shifts, some weekends required

Outdoor Operations:  Snow Hill Manager (full-time seasonal position)

The Snow Hill Manager’s position is primarily and directly responsible for the operation of the winter Snow Park's tubing hill and snow removal.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all safety standards of equipment and tubing lanes are met.
  • Responsible for checking, inspecting, and maintaining all equipment, park structures, and pathways.
  • Handles the daily set-up, closure, and management of snow hill.
  • Responsible for snow removal coordination.
  • Assists with snow making operations.
  • Supervises parking lot flow during peak sessions.
  • Ensures that all staff meet customer service and performance standards.
  • Responds to onsite medical emergencies.
  • Oversees outside activities for group events and assists with guest reservations.
  • Assists ticketing staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Quick and independent learner, with strong judgment and decision making ability.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies and resolve them.
  • Demonstration of high integrity and ethical standards.
  • Possess overall positive attitude and outlook.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Capable of effectively handling high-pressure situations while remaining calm.
  • Enjoys working outdoors, able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • CPR/1st Aid /Wilderness First Responder certifications highly preferred
  • Possess high school diploma or GED

Applicants with additional experience or background in the following areas are preferred: hospitality/tourism, snow/ski industry, service industry, fire/rescue/EMT, outdoor adventure facilities, and customer service.

Schedule: This position is a full-time, seasonal position and requires a flexible schedule, including weekends. Snow Park season runs from roughly December 15 through April 1.

Assistant Operations Manager: (winter seasonal position)

The Assistant Operations Manager’s position is primarily and directly responsible for the opening, closing and daily operation of the snow park. This position is suited towards someone with past experience in guest service and/or the hospitality industry. The position receives onsite training from the management team. The Assistant Operations Manager must be comfortable leading young staff members as well as represent the park professionally at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all safety standards are met.
  • Handles the daily set-up, closure, and management of the park.
  • Supervises and assists staff members.
  • Ensures that all staff meet customer service and performance standards.
  • Oversees outside activities for group events and assists with guest reservations.
  • Responsible for check-in and payment of scheduled groups and birthdays. 
  • Has basic operating knowledge of all positions and understands all opening and closing procedures.
  • Assists with training and communications to staff members. 
  • Responds to guest interactions and incidents with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong judgment and decision-making ability.

Outdoor Operations Manager (full-time position)

The Outdoor Operations Manager’s position is primarily and directly responsible for the operation of the winter Snow Park's tubing hill and the summer Fun Park's attractions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all safety standards of equipment and staff performance are met.
  • Responsible for checking, inspecting and maintaining all equipment, park structures, courses, and trees. 
  • Handles the training and direct management of park staff, including ride attendants, ticket sellers, and grounds crew.
  • Responsible for staff scheduling, meetings and performance reviews.
  • Ensures that all staff meet customer service and performance standards.
  • Responds to course rescues or medical emergencies.
  • Coordinates and oversees group events and assists with guest reservations.
  • Assists park staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Quick and independent learner, with strong judgment and decision making ability.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies and resolve them.
  • Demonstration of high integrity and ethical standards.
  • Possess overall positive attitude and outlook.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working at heights of 40 feet.
  • Enjoys working outdoors, able to work outside in all weather conditions.
